Bernie Mac:
On July 24, 2008, Mac was hospitalized with an infection, that later turned out to be pneumonia. The news of his hospitalization would not be announced for over a week, when his publicist claimed that Mac had pneumonia. The next day, responding to rumors that the actor was in "very, very critical condition," his publicist said that he was responding well to treatment, and should be released soon.[7] On August 9, his publicist announced that Mac had died from complications of pneumonia unrelated to sarcoidosis.[1]
Issac Hayes
On August 10, 2008, Hayes' wife found him on the floor near a treadmill at his home located just east of Memphis, Tennessee. A Shelby County, Tennessee sheriff's deputy responded to Hayes' home. He was taken to Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, where he was pronounced dead at 2:08pm, at the age of 65. The cause of death was not immediately known,[15] though the stroke he suffered in 2006 is considered a factor.[16][2][17][18] At the time of his death, he was preparing his first new studio album since 1995.
I've been a longtime fan on Bernie Mac's comedy, and a fan of Isaac Hayes since his potrayal as Chef on South Park. Its very unfortunate to lose them both in the same weekend.
